Elixir is One Hundred Days for 100 days
VANCOUVER—For 100 days from August 28 to December 5, Elixir Bistro becomes One Hundred Days.
Located in Opus Hotel, One Hundred Days is a clever way to fill the gap between the closure of Elixir and its reopening as a “fresh and innovative world class restaurant” expected to open in early 2011.
One Hundred Days is a pop-up restaurant open for just 100 nights, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“In true OPUS spirit, I decided to use the transition period between the old and new to do something completely unexpected and unique,” said John Evans, president and CEO of OPUS Hotels, in a statement.
“The richly experiential, stripped back raw structure of One Hundred Days is in perfect keeping with the creativity and unpredictability that defines the OPUS Brand."
One Hundred Days menu is a blend of “urban diner meets Mediterranean cuisine,” with items including Lobster and Prawn Popsicles and the Kick-Ass Burger.
Vancouver graffiti artist Vince Dumoulin will be changing up the One Hundred Days wall design from week to week.
