TORONTO—A Vancouver artist and comedian turned foodservice entrepreneur,
who gained a lot of media attention with his $100 hot dog this month,
is planning to come back on the Dragons’ Den television show for a
second try at persuading the “dragons” to invest in his business.
WINNIPEG—The chef-owner of Sydney’s Fine Dining Restaurant at The Forks
has opened a new eatery that mixes nostalgia with high tech, on the main
floor of the Manitoba Hydro headquarters building on Portage Avenue.
